The Tower of Big Ben

Big Ben is the name that refers to a clock tower that is
located in the Parliament House in estminster, London, United Kingdom, and is
the second largest clock tower in the world. Hours in located in the northeast
of the Houses of Parliament in Westminster, London. There is a reason this
tower called Big Ben, Big Ben is actually the nickname of the bell located
therein (formerly the Great Bell). The tower is also named The Tower of Big
Ben, or inappropriately, the tower of St. Stephen.
Tower in height 96.3 meters (316 feet) and was built by the
Victorian Gothic style. 61 meters (200 feet) below the clock is made of brick
covered by stones, while the spire supported by an iron frame made of molten
iron. The tower was built on land measuring 15 meters by 15 meters, the
foundation made of concrete thickness of 3 meters (9 feet), at a depth of 4
meters (13 feet) below the surface. All the hours height of 55 meters (180
feet) from the ground.
This clock is well-known for its accuracy. The designer was a lawyer
and amateur horologis Edmund Beckett Denison, and George Airy, the Astronomer of that kingdom. This clock was made by Edward John Dent, who completed it in 1854. But
the tower of Big Ben has not been completed at that time until 1859.
